Treatment Programmes

At The Mews House, our job is to provide a safe base from which to guide our clients through their recovery journey. The Mews House’s carefully designed therapeutic programmes are 12-Step based and include dedicated individual counselling, group therapy, yoga, art, mindfulness, Kirtan chanting, meditation, family counselling, educational workshops, and targeted written assignments.

Start2Stop treatment package at The Mews House includes a weekly Family Programme for loved ones of our residents. This is an important opportunity for family members to become involved with the therapeutic process, and obtain their own support and education.

  • Secondary Care: Secondary care at The Mews House is focused on helping our residents learn to live life in recovery, and on building a recovery architecture that can then be stepped into. The Mews House recommends a 90-day secondary programme. This is an evidence-based period of time in which to build the necessary recovery structures.
  • Tertiary Care: A person will be ready for tertiary when they have worked hard, been in recovery for some time, and are almost, but not quite, ready for fully independent living.
